Last Saturday, 31/10/2026, SG BiBo (Spielgemeinschaft Bielefeld, Bonn) secured their second win of the season in Division B West! Early in the morning, the players and their travelling support set off from Bonn for sunny Kaiserslautern. The warm sunshine lifted the mood of an already cheerful team. While some grabbed a coffee and others had another rest, the first matchday hairstyles were already being braided before captain Fredda handed out the jerseys. Unfortunately, the team had to manage without their coaching duo on this matchday. In their thoughts, however, the three gentlemen were with the team and followed every try digitally. The staffing gap was filled by the two captains, Fredda and Fabi.

In the first game of the day, SG BiBo were already up against the strong opponents from Karlsruhe. Before the Karlsruhe players were properly awake, Fredda broke through the defence and scored the first try of the match. Having learned from previous encounters, SG BiBo ran good support lines and were almost always able to prevent Karlsruhe’s lightning-fast counter-rucks. In the end, SG BiBo won 38–0. The six tries were scored by Fredda, Anna, Lea and Anne.

SG BiBo played their second game against SG Darm MaGie (Darmstadt, Marburg, Gießen), who travelled with only seven players. This showed just how well-drilled SG BiBo are. After turnovers by SG Darm MaGie, our forward Annika was able to win the ball. When she came under pressure, Fredda was there for her, and then got into trouble herself just short of the try line. But as it should be, Annika was still there and crowned the nicely worked move with a try. The final score was 45–7 to SG BiBo. The seven tries were scored by Fredda, Lea, Anna, Annika and Sina.

In the third game, SG BiBo faced the hosts SG Kaiserbrücken (Kaiserslautern, Saarbrücken). In what was the toughest and fastest game of the day so far, the players had to rethink after the first half. The left wing of SG Kaiserbrücken in particular challenged SG BiBo and could only be stopped with double tackles. Nevertheless, SG BiBo also came out on top in this match, winning 29–17. The five tries were scored by Sina, Anna and Fredda.

The tournament concluded with the Rhineland derby between the TuS Düsseldorf players and SG BiBo. Three games were already in everyone’s legs, so it was time to grit your teeth and push through. After a beautiful kick-off from Fredda, Sina was first to the ball ahead of the Düsseldorf players and carried it into the end zone for a try. SG BiBo won the last game of the day 33–7. The five tries were scored by Fredda, Anna, Sina and Annika.

A hugely successful rugby day was coming to an end. With four wins from four and an overall points tally of 145–31, SG BiBo deservedly secured first place! And rightly so, the whole team received an award. The forwards took Hammer of the Day for their strong tackles, carries and massive scrums, and the backs took Skill of the Day for their harmonious teamwork, great running lines and creativity. One player stood out in particular: Sina received Panda of the Day for her outstanding performance in both attack and defence!

The fourth matchday of Division B West will take place after the winter break on 17/04/2027. The venue has not yet been decided. Most likely, SG BiBo will be heading to Düsseldorf next on 21/11/2026 for the Herbstpokal.
