On 2026-09-05, the Painless Pandas, together with their SG partner Bielefeld as SG BiBo, competed at the first league tournament of Division B West in Darmstadt. In pleasant weather, they battled for the first points of the new season alongside four other teams.<\/p>\n
In the first match, SG BiBo faced SG KaiserBr\u00fccken. Thanks to the team\u2019s focused teamwork\u2014resulting in three tries and two conversions by Fredda\u2014the match ended 19\u201310 for SG BiBo. It was a strong start to the tournament.<\/p>\n
The second match started with a try by the opposing team from D\u00fcsseldorf. Later, after a strong scrum and quick hands, Fredda scored a try and also converted it. Another highlight was a beautiful interception by Karla. However, SG BiBo also received a yellow card for one of their players. In the end, SG BiBo had to concede defeat in this match, 7\u201315.<\/p>\n
SG BiBo didn\u2019t let this defeat get them down, though. After a longer break, the last match played was against the tournament hosts, SG DarmMagie. Once again, the fantastic performance of the forwards in the scrums was a joy to watch. The whole team\u2019s strong cohesion also led to plenty of great plays. In the end, Fredda, Sina and Kim scored tries. SG BiBo won convincingly, 27\u20135.<\/p>\n
The opponents were unable to play the scheduled fourth and final match, so the win went to SG BiBo. At the end of the tournament, SG BiBo deservedly took first place\u2014an impressive start to the new season.<\/p>\n
Particularly strong performances were also recognized with various awards.
\nAnnika and Clara earned the \u201cHammer of the Day\u201d together thanks to their strong tackles. Kim was honored with the \u201cSkill of the Day\u201d for her powerful carries. Last but not least, the two captains, Fredda and Fabi, received the \u201cPanda of the Day\u201d together.
\nIn addition to the sporting success, there were two more reasons to celebrate: Anke\u2019s birthday (management) was celebrated, and Nadine\u2019s past
\nwork as one of the Painless Pandas\u2019 captains was also recognized.<\/p>\n
