Almost 50 men and women came together on Tuesday for a fun training session in the Rheinaue. Among them were some complete rugby newcomers from Texas, as well as around 10 new rugby enthusiasts from Bonn. Players and coaches from all our teams were represented, who passionately imparted their rugby knowledge to the newcomers under the sporting direction of Steve Harris. <\/p>\n
They started in small groups to improve ball handling and coordinate their attacking and defensive skills. Then we slowly moved on to more challenging games. There were even first glimpses of rugby standards! <\/p>\n
Everyone had a lot of fun and we will certainly see many of the newcomers again in the team training sessions. These will start again at the end of July\/beginning of August. <\/p>\n
