Light steady rain, perfect rugby weather, as Timo always says, rugby is water sports!<\/div>\n
But I can assure you, the sun came out in the end.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But one thing at a time, who was there?<\/div>\n
We had guests from the RC Aachen e.V., the Dragons from D\u00fcsseldorf, the RSV K\u00f6ln e.V. and the MRC from Maastricht.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
There were around 45 young players at the start. According to Adam Riese with 2 subs enough for 3 teams and a small tournament. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
However, true to the motto:<\/div>\n
Playing time should take precedence over syndicates.<\/div>\n
The coaches had a fabulous exchange and came up with this variant:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Let’s play a round of 15-a-side rugby<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
No sooner said than done, Max immediately recognized the prospects and opportunities for everyone to learn to play rugby and divided our forwards and backs into the two teams.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Then the faux pas, we don’t have a ref. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Coach David from Cologne for stepping in. It was a misunderstanding in the starting time of 11 am to 2 pm. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The U14 15s rugby match could therefore begin.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It was wet and the two teams had to find each other first, but that went quite quickly. Then the passes were on target, there were deep tackles and the first try was not long in coming. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I couldn’t read the scoreboard due to the heavy rain, but it was a balanced game. Everyone gave their all and learned a lot. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
One player said on the way to the changing room, that was exhausting, but it came from a satisfied face. Eat, shower, home to the sofa, you’ve earned it. <\/div>\n

Weather today, dry to a little drizzle, so still water sports!<\/div>\n
Even on this beautiful Sunday, the sun came out at the end.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The clubs represented were almost the same as on Saturday, some coaches were at the start again, others had players with them:<\/div>\n

  • RC Aachen e.V.<\/li>\n
  • Dragons D\u00fcsseldorf<\/li>\n
  • RSV Cologne e.V.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Three age groups (AK) were sufficiently occupied and at least 2 whole teams could be formed.<\/div>\n

    We had four referees on the pitch who conducted the fair matches superbly, thank you.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    The matches were well worth seeing and everything that is possible in this age group.<\/div>\n
    With the U8s, the wrong tag has also been pulled, which is similar to setting the ruck from the wrong side. It’s all happened before, it’s all part of it. <\/div>\n
    In the other 99% of cases, the actions were taken in the right direction.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    It’s still the beginning of the season, and you can tell: at the end of the individual seasons of the age groups, the strength was already waning here and there.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    After the tournament, energy reserves were replenished with food.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    After the award ceremony, the only thing left to say is, it’s great that you were there.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n

    It was worth it, just in time for the weekend:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Emil: Oh, my muscles are a bit sore today, I don’t think I can go to the gym tonight.<\/div>\n

    Wenzel’s parents: Wenzel just came home completely thrilled, despite rain, wind and a draw, a big compliment to all the organizers.<\/div>\n
