Last school tournament of the 2024\/25 season<\/h1>\n

It’s a really hot Sunday, but everyone’s off again to take part in the last school tournament of the 2024\/25 season and enjoy the playing time. Especially the kids who are changing the AK want to show everything once again, because next season won’t be any easier. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Our 9 players in the U8, U10 and U12 age groups received help from other clubs or helped out at other clubs themselves. Thanks to this piracy, they all got maximum playing time. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Ruth got her referee D license by officiating at the 2nd tournament, congratulations.<\/div>\n
A strong performance in these temperatures, hats off.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Hats off to our two coaches, Leonie and Timo. They first warmed up on their bikes, traveled 35 km by bike, then put in a phenomenal coaching session and, of course, biked back again. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But back to the games, the heat was not nice, but there were buckets of water with sponges, towels or jerseys to cool off. The atmosphere was summery and chilled. <\/div>\n

We had a player with the U8s from RC Aachen e.V., he put in a great performance there and contributed to a few tries.<\/p>\n

U10 here we supported 2 teams and contributed to good games, RC Aachen e.V. and RSV K\u00f6ln. When the two teams played against each other, Timo had a hard time keeping our players focused but neutral in his coaching. <\/p>\n

Yes, and our four U12 players formed an SG with 6 Dragons.
\nThey really gave their all right to the end, especially in the last game against the Dragons’ 1st team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Everyone gained maximum match experience and got to know many new players in the various teams.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Here are the three highlights of the games:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In the U10 section, we had a defensive lightning bolt who turned the game around in the last game because he repeatedly made great runs out of defense and put the opponents under massive pressure, and the turnovers were the reward.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Then there were 2 very interesting acts in the U12s:<\/div>\n
Some of our players have already copied techniques from the big ones, you can’t help but be amazed, not many can play an offload under pressure from the opposing defense, but to combine it with a switch is very, very worth seeing.<\/div>\n
In the last game, when everyone was already exhausted, one of our players had a very bright moment, with a clever head and almost fresh body an almost impossible intercept was made, then played in the tackle, great!<\/div>\n

It was a great last tournament of the 2024\/25 season, which we will remember for a long time to come…<\/p>\n
