Strong performance by SG BiBo at the first tournament of the new year<\/h1>\n
It’s Sunday, March 16, 2025 – a fresh but perfect spring day to play the first tournament of the year.
\nThe sun is already shining over the rugby pitch in Wiedenbr\u00fcck as the first teams arrive. This year’s guests are the Rugby Tourists from M\u00fcnster, the Dragonettes from D\u00fcsseldorf and the SG from Bielefeld and Bonn (affectionately known as SG BiBo). The three teams have made the sometimes long journey through NRW with great anticipation….because one thing is very clear….. THERE IS FINALLY RUGBY AGAIN!!!<\/div>\n
At 11:00 a.m., the referee blew the whistle for the first match of the day. The hosts from Wiedenbr\u00fccker TV start with a win against the Dragonettes from D\u00fcsseldorf. And then it finally starts for SG Bibo. A good first game against strong opponents from M\u00fcnster, but in the end they won 41:5. However, our Leonie’s try should not go unmentioned. <\/div>\n

SHORT BREATHER
\n… and it’s on to the next game.
\nThe hosts lose their second game to their strong opponents from M\u00fcnster.
\nIt’s SG BiBo’s turn again. This time it’s the Dragonettes’ turn…here SG BiBo can finally play to its strengths and defeats the ladies from D\u00fcsseldorf with two tries from Fredda and others from Wiebke, Benilde and Anna with a clear 31:5. Unfortunately, not all of the scores went in. <\/div>\n

In the final game, the SG faced the hosts. After a long day of rugby and the previous games in their legs, SG BiBo had to admit defeat in the end. Yellow cards in the final phase were an additional stumbling block. <\/p>\n

In the end, our SG BiBo ladies finished in 3rd place. A great performance from everyone involved on the pitch and on the sidelines. A big thank you goes to all the coaches, assistants, friends and injured team members who traveled with us. You were a great support. Thank you very much. We look forward to the next tournament and many more to come. <\/p><\/div>\n
