On June 8, our Lynx team from Bonn traveled to Cologne to take part in the 2024 version of the Cologne Cup with other touch teams from Germany. This is the first time that we have been able to send a complete Bonn team to a touch tournament in 2024.<\/p>\n
We were placed in an extremely competitive group with the reigning German champions and runners-up, won the first game 4:1 against the Berlin Bruisers and, after some tough games against first-class opponents, eventually finished fourth in the group. In the semi-final in the afternoon, we unfortunately lost to Stuttgart and ended the day with a defeat against a strong team from Hanover\/Halle.<\/p>\n
But the most important thing was that the team had fun all day and at the same time learned a lot from our opponents, as we had a lot of playing time. We will definitely build on this experience and hopefully be able to send our entire Bonn team to other touch tournaments later in the year.<\/p>\n
