{"id":4331,"date":"2024-03-04T01:27:03","date_gmt":"2024-03-04T00:27:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rcbrs.de\/2024\/03\/04\/u8-u12-tournament-in-aachen\/"},"modified":"2024-03-04T01:27:08","modified_gmt":"2024-03-04T00:27:08","slug":"u8-u12-tournament-in-aachen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rcbrs.de\/en\/2024\/03\/04\/u8-u12-tournament-in-aachen\/","title":{"rendered":"U8-U12 tournament in Aachen"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>U8-U12 kick-off again after the winter break in Aachen<\/h1>\n<p>It&#8217;s February, the days are getting longer and the temperatures are getting milder.<br \/>\nWe accepted the invitation from Rugby Club Aachen e.V. to our first school tournament in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>It was almost a small group of 11 players, coaches, support staff, parents, siblings and referees.<\/p>\n<p>Our players in all age groups have formed a playing partnership with the Rugby Sport Verein K\u00f6ln e.V.:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>U8 2 players<\/li>\n<li>U10 4 players<\/li>\n<li>U12 5 players<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the winter break, everyone first had to get back into the game. But, just as the sunshine makes the days longer, the children gain match practice in their encounters with the other clubs. And there were plenty of matches against the other competing clubs<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rugby Club Aachen e.V.<\/li>\n<li>Bonn Rugby Union Club e.V.<\/li>\n<li>Dragons D\u00fcseldorf in TuS D\u00fcsseldorf 1895 e.V.<\/li>\n<li>Rugby Sport Verein K\u00f6ln e.V.<\/li>\n<li>Wiedenbr\u00fccker TV e.V.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The U8s scored no less than thirty tries in five matches, we haven&#8217;t counted how many tags were scored here, but it&#8217;s always impressive how fast the game is here.<br \/>\nThe playing time increases with each age group and the field gets bigger, with more players on the field. The game becomes more complex and so the U10s gave their all in 3 games and scored 17 spectacular tries. The tackles didn&#8217;t always look good, but they put the opponents under pressure.<br \/>\nThe U12s scored 10 tries in four games.
