RUGBY CLUB<\/strong>

\nMISSION & VISION<\/span><\/span><\/h2>
We are a club with over 170 members and growing steadily. Everyone aged 5 and up can find their place in our club.<\/div><\/header>

The Rugby Club Bonn-Rhein-Sieg e.V. is a club for everyone who loves rugby or wants to get to know it. Since 1997 we are located in the heart of the American settlement in Bonn and offer rugby for all ages and abilities. Our men’s team plays in the regional league North Rhine-Westphalia and fights for every ball and every point. Our children’s and youth department promotes the next generation with fun and commitment. Our women’s team is always open to new players who want to dedicate themselves to this fascinating sport. And if you want to try non-contact rugby, you can join our Touch Rugby team, which trains and competes in tournaments on a regular basis. Whether beginner or advanced, young or old, man or woman – you are welcome here! We are more than just a club – we are a rugby family! The Rugby Club Bonn-Rhein-Sieg e.V. is more than just a sports club – it is a community that lives and passes on the values of rugby. We put respect, integrity, passion, solidarity and discipline first. We are proud of our diversity and inclusion. We welcome anyone who wants to play or learn rugby, regardless of background, language or experience. We are family friendly and offer rugby for all ages 5 and up. Our training is often bilingual, as we have many members from different countries who have found a home with us. We are not only a team on the court, but also off it. We support each other, celebrate our successes together and have a lot of fun together. We are the Rugby Club Bonn-Rhein-Sieg e.V. – and we love rugby!<\/p>\n

Vincent has been the
Chairman of the rugby club since March 2024. He has his rugby roots in Berlin and leads the club with fresh ideas, great commitment, and passion. You’ll also find him on the pitch from time to time. <\/p>\n

David (Davy), as sports coordinator, is always in coordination mode. Whether it’s pitch bookings or the club calendar\u2014he has everything under control. During men’s training, he’s always up for a laugh. Davy is characterized by an irrepressible thirst for action.<\/p>\n

Joachim has been involved in various areas of the association for many years. He is particularly committed to the protection of children and young people. He also ensures that there are enough supplies of food and drinks on match days.<\/p>\n

Michi takes care of the equipment and the clubhouse of the RCBRS. Thanks to his tireless efforts, our training material is constantly growing. It is also not too shy for the one or other basic cleaning.<\/p>\n

Nadine is the bundle of energy and the captain of the women’s team. Even though she discovered her love for rugby late, she was on fire from the first moment. Whenever she can make it, she assists the club with events.<\/p>\n

Anke has been actively shaping the association’s social media presence and advertising measures since 2022. She has been an integral part of RCBRS since 2021 and can often be found on the sidelines with her telephoto lens, capturing a great shot or two.<\/p>\n

HEAD OF TOUCH<\/span>Friederike Schwartz<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/header>
<\/div>

Fredda is an absolute rugby talent. She has not only been Head of Touch since 2024, but also plays actively in the Touch national team and is captain of the Bonn Touch Team. However, her roots are in rugby, and her skills make her incredibly important to the team.<\/p>\n

YOUTH MAINTAIN<\/span>THOMAS BREIDENBACH<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/header>

Thomas got into rugby through his children and is a passionate player in the Touch Rugby team. He is the youth coordinator and diligently organizes the kids’ tournaments, writes articles, and is responsible for everything related to the youth teams.<\/p>\n
